There are many worldwide brand-names that have produced hockey trading cards especially for the NHL market, for example, food manufacturers, restaurants and petroleum companies. These are the ones currently in our stock;
Air Canada - Danone - Duracell - Durivage - Esso - Frito-Lay - Gillette - Humpty Dumpty - Kraft - McDonalds - Post - Sports Illustrated - Sunkist.
Some other NHL card sets have been found in card games - Hockey Wit - Play Off One On One - Team Out and decks of playing cards from Hoyle and Bicycle Aces.

For collectors of minor and junior league sets, the late 1980's and early 90's were the domain of 7th Inning Sketch (Canadian juniors) and ProCards (minor leagues AHL & IHL). Classic made their debut in 1991 with the first of their draft sets which lasted another 4 seasons, they did produce a myriad of hockey prospects sets under various names including some insert sets and multi-sport sets. Several other sports card producers jumped on the draft set bandwagon in the early 90's like Arena, Star Pics & Ultimate Draft, with most following the NHL trend to produce sets in English and French.
By the mid 90's Signature Rookies appeared (with their air-brushed team logo removed junior sets and mountain of insert sets and autographed cards) and Collector's Edge released AHL and IHL sets with Edge Ice and Future Legends. However, it was Slapshot that took the quantity award with the massive 440 card 1995-96 Canadian junior set. For set builders that was about it until the nearer the end of the decade when the major card brands took a short-lived interest in the prospects market as Upper Deck with UD Prospects joined the Bowman CHL releases and the later and one time only Pacific AHL set.
Since 2004-05 this area of the hobby has belonged to In The Game with their Heroes And Prospects sets and the netminder based Between The Pipes and whilst some of these sets are not exclusive to minor and junior prospects they are the closest currently being produced.
